History

GEVISA was founded in 1983 in El Salvador. At the begining we were a general trading company but over time we specialized more and more in the graphic arts field. 

 

Timeline: 

  • 1983: Established first office in El Salvador. 

  • 1987: Becomes VAN SON Printing Inks dealer. 

  • 1999: Established an office in Guatemala

  • 2001-2003: Our product line expands with the addition of coatings, stamping foil, blankets and rollers.

  • 2003: We become KBA dealer for the region, thus entering the printing machinery market
  • 2004: Established an office in Costa Rica. First KBA press is installed in El Salvador

  • 2005: First KBA press  is installed in Guatemala. 

  • 2003-2006:Our machinery line expands with the addition of paper cutters, folder gluers, coaters and other peripherals. 

  • 2007: First KBA press in installed in Costa Rica.
